    Too many refreshes

Just today, I've noticed that any forum post I open seems to refresh itself twice - once when I open the page and then again about 5 seconds later. It's very irritating.

I'm using Firefox latest version on Windows 8.1.

Any idea why this is happening?

    Alan

I've noticed it has started doing it in IE 11 as well.

I get the thread then a greyed out area and then post reappears - wonder if the Webmasters have been playing around again ?

I would think if we are experiencing it then the Admins and Mods will also, so it could already be in hand.

I'm not seeing any such strange behavior in Edge or IE11.

Perhaps it's only affecting Win 7 and 8.1.

Would the Webmasters have had to tweak anything to make the forum Win 10/Edge compliant ?

I don't think so (and only 12% of 7% are using Edge anyway ).

I've just got on the forum using chrome and I haven't seen that behavior but I had a different problem I asked about day before yesterday. I get the feeling that "they" are changing things on the forum for some reason. It seems to invoke some odd behavior at times.

It's happening on my win 10 as well as 8.1, in FF (haven't checked any other browser).

I've just tried on 10 and there's no problem (that I could see). So it may be an FF issue. I don't have Chrome on my 8.1 system so can't try it - Rui, do you have FF to test it?

Just in case it may be relevant, I use Ublock rather than Adblock; does anyone have the problem in FF with Adblock?
