    No GUI?

I found the answer to this... In EasyBCD, on the Edit Boot Menu button, there is an option to "Use Metro Bootloader" that needs to be checked / u nchecked to switch between the two states.

I know I asked this once before, but I could not then, and can not now fix it.

I installed NeoSmart's EasyBCD, because I had two Windows 10 entries in my start sequence, one no good and not needed, and I wanted to delete it.

I did, and it worked, but somewhere then I lost the GUI Boot menu.

    I tried

    bcdboot C:\Windows

    as directed by

    but that didn't work.

Although I don't need or necessarily prefer the GUI, I would like knowing what changed and how to fix it if I did want or need to do so.

How can I retun to the GUI Boot menu?
