No "print" command box on print dialog box on hp pavillion laptop after windows 10 UPDATE

My wife has a HP Pavillion laptop (dv&-6163us) and all worked fine after upgrading to Win 10. Then around the time that the November "big" update was installed, the computer stopped printing. The network printer is present, but when you select "Print", the dialog box for "Print" does not contain a "print" command at the bottom. In other words, there is nowhere to "click to print". Anyone have this type of problem? I am just assuming that it has to do with the "update" last November.

By "present" do you mean you see it when you go to Settings | Devices | Printers and scanners?

Do you also see it in Device Manager > Printers?

Yes, it appears in Printers and scanners but the "print" dialog box has no "Print" at the bottom. Thanks
