    Edge Browser is Slowwww!

    Sometimes Chrome won't play a video or load a page properly. So i've begun trying Edge now & then which seems even worse for the simple reason it's noticeably slower when loading almost every page. Is everyone else experiencing this, too? Is it because i can't use AdBlock on Edge, or what?

    Although I don't use Google Chrome, I do use Opera in addition to IE and Edge. I have not found Edge to be much slower than IE-11, but (from here) Edge isn't as fast as Opera. Of course it can depend on how "busy" the web page is which you're visiting.
    I use Adblock Plus in both IE-11 and Opera.

    Just as an FYI, Edge in the Insider Preview has both an Adblock and an Adblock Plus extension available.

    Hmm, thought Edge wasn't allowing any add-ons/extensions. I look forward to those features becoming available to all Win 10 users!

    Extensions will be available with the Anniversary update. Most likely to see public release on or about July 29th.

    NOTE: It may be some time before a large library of extensions is available. Supposedly it is easy to adapt Chrome extensions but time will tell.
