I'm running Office 2010 on Windows 10. Recently, I've begun experiencing a problem that I can't solve. When I have a Word document open in one window and then highlight a message in my Outlook message pane, the icon for the message appears in the Word document as a text box. Somehow, the two programs have become linked in a way that I can't discern.

I'd welcome any suggestions.
