I realize they want to shake out all the bugs before release of the anniversary update but this is getting ridiculous.

A bit ridiculous? At 3Gigs per upgrade, yes! I have been running "Insider" in a VM and have decided not to open the machine until after things slow down to a more reasonable pace. (I suppose that's not doing what users of Insider are expected to do, but ...)

I'd expect at least two or three more builds before the August 2nd release.

@JoeP517. Yes, that's what I suspected. I think I'll hold off a bit (all this downloading and updating and then checking/testing the new features etc is very interesting, but a bit too much of late!!)

Big push to fix as many bugs as possible, get them tested internally, and then pushed to Insiders for more testing before the Anniversary release.

@JoeP517: (Of course, I must not forget to keep an eye on the expiry date of my current Insider Build!!)
