    Suggested way to format a SSD drive

    I'm using win 7 64bit and running it now on a SATA drive.

    I haven't plugged the SSD drive in yet.

    If you are going to migrate your system to the SSD, then the first thing I would ask is if the SSD came with any transfer software. If it did, then use that.

    Don't format the drive, just allow your clone software to clone.

    p.s. Make sure TRIM is working in W7. See this thread.
