Shortcut Keys for Desktop shortcuts not working after Anniversary Update

I am having a problem with my shortcut keys not working after I updated to the Win10 Anniversary edition. For instance, Ctrl+Alt+C has been opening the Microsoft Windows Calculator app just fine prior to the update. Now neither it nor any of the other three shortcut keys for other items on my desktop will work. I have done a Google search and nothing came up that addressed this problem. Anybody else here having this trouble or know what to do about it?
I have a Gateway DX4870-UB318 Desktop computer with 8 GB ram, Intel core i5 3300/3 GHz, and 1 TB HD.

Well never mind folks! The problem has mysteriously disappeared after being there since the anniversary update on Oct 5 th. I just tried it and now it has started working again. All my keyboard shortcuts that I have assigned are now working. I have no idea why but I am glad for it. Maybe there was an update that fixed it. Or..... who knows?

With Win10 I used the Windows key + left/right arrow to place the active window to the left/right half of the screen. I found this to be very convenient when comparing two files and so was not at all pleased to find this facility disappeared after an update. The Microsoft 'Shortcut keys for Windows 10' shows these combinations but they do not work on my computer anymore. Some of the others shown involving the arrow keys do not work either. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to get the actions back?

You could check that Control Panel, Ease of Access, Make the mouse easier to use, "Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen" is not checked, as that does disable the Win+Arrow combination.

It never occurred to me to look in Control Panel to see if anything had been altered - and it had been changed. Now all the Win+Arrow combinations work. Many thanks.
