    Office 2007 Folder Tree Missing

A Windows 7 computer has Office 2007 installed. A couple of months ago, when in any application in office 2007, the Save As dialog box no longer has the Folder Tree showing on the left. When you Open a document, worksheet, or presentation, the Folder Tree is visible in any application, but not when saving in the Save As dialog. This happened all at once.

From the save as dialog > Organize > Layout > Check 'Navigation pane'

That has already been tried; it is already checked for Navigation. Have run SFC to no avail. The only fix I have found is to create a new user, hence a new profile, and everything is correct for the new user.

Without seeing a screenshot, my solution below may not apply.
If the Pane is hidden 'vertically', it can be shown by dragging it open.

The only other reference I have seen about this issue is http://www.msofficeforums.com/word/1...o-folders.html. I don't know if it will help.
