    Getting email from roadrunner

My computer crashed and I reloaded all programs. When setting up my email addresses in Outlook 2013 I had an issue. My msn email set up fine. Outlook set up my roadrunner email as an IMAP account. Before it was a POP3 account. When I open Outlook, my msn email downloads instantly. My roadrunner email takes up to 30 minutes to download. I called Spectrum tech support and was told they were having server problems. Its been 3 weeks now and the server is fixed, but my email still takes 30 minutes before it starts to download.

I deleted that account and had Outlook detect it again. Same issue. I don't know if the change from POP3 to IMAP is causing a problem. I went through all my setting and can't find anything to fix the problem.

Any ideas on what to do?

    Thanks,

    Mike

You could do a manual setup for POP3 if roadrunner still allows POP access.

Roadrunner does appear to have a whole raft of regional POP servers - https://motorola-global-portal.custh...il/a_id/74288/ Use the alternative port settings.
