Background page - Visio 2000

Hi Everyone,

Probably a very easy question I am using Visio 2000 and I am dragging a background from the background stencil onto the drawing page. It snaps into place and covers my drawing. According
to the help files and what I have read, when you drag + drop the background a dialog box should appear asking
"Do you want this shape to be a background image for this page". When you select "Yes" - Visio inserts
the background on another tab.

This doesn't happen - I have checked setting with no luck. Any ideas?

Thanks Kindly,

Kerrie

Re: Background page - Visio 2000

The only time I see this behaviour is if the page I am editing is already a Background page. What do you see in File => Page Setup => Page Properties?
