    VS Community 2015 not free?

I had thought this version was/is free. But I just finished installing and setting it up, and it said my evaluation period would end in 30 days.

Did I do something wrong in my setup? Is this a new policy?

    What's the deal?

I've just downloaded/installed VS Community 2015 to check. I've seen no sign of any mention of a 30-day evaluation period. I've re-booted and restarted VS Community 2015 a couple of times just to make sure.

Rick maybe I was/am delusional due to lack of sleep! In the meantime I found VS 2017 Community edition and it seems to work fine.

    Sorry for the bother...
