    Internet Explorer 11 not responding

Running Windows 10, IE 11 was running fine 11/6/2017. 11/7/2017 I began having web pages that:
[*]would not load at all[*]would only load part of a page[*]Task Manager showed IE 11 "not responding"

The following was the most clear procedure to me: http://www.mitchellenright.com/2010/...rer-safe-mode/

As soon as I ran in Safe Mode IE 11 response returned to normal.

So I assume I picked up an add on during browsing on 11/6. Is there a way to know the date order in which add ons were acquired or changed?

AND now that IE has been idle while I started this post performance is going haywire. For example, when I try to switch to another tab I get MS's turning wheel and the "Internet Explorer has stopped working" window has popped up with the only choice [Close program]. I was hoping that running IE 11 in Safe Mode would be stable, but it is not.

Any suggestions? The more simple the better!

I would probably just Reset IE.
To reset IE just start typing "Internet Options" in Cortana's search box then click it in the resulting slide-up list. Click the "Advanced" tab at the far right (of the Internet Options window). Then click on "Reset" near the bottom of the window.
Clone or Image often! Backup, backup, backup, backup...

If RockE's suggestion doesn't solve it, try uninstalling and reinstalling.
