Thread: Watermark

  1. #1

I use a Brother HL-1240 Laser printer with Word 2000. One of the printer's features is insertion of a watermark, accessed through the Properties tab in Word's Print menu. I would like to use this feature to print a watermark on my copy after printing the original without a watermark. I tried recording a macro, but it doesn't take. Any suggestions? Thanks.

In your OS (Windows or Mac) install a second printer driver for your printer and set the default options for that printer driver to your COPY stamp. You can record a macro to switch to a different printer and that is what Word will see this as.
