    ControlSource Property (Word 97SR2)

A textbox control on a userform can have a ControlSource that puts data into the control from an Excel spreadsheet. I may have asked this before, but can't find the anwer: what else can I reference with the controlsource property besides xls cells?

    Re: ControlSource Property (Word 97SR2)

Based on head-scratching and a couple of searches, I think that it can only be an Excel cell reference. But, there is the intrieging line in the Help file "it identifies a linked cell or field. The contents of that cell or field are automatically copied to the Value property when the control is loaded." What does "field" mean? Since Word fields do not have an address or name, surely it does not mean a Word field, so I suspect it was just copied from the VB textbox that can be bound to database fields.
