Odd pages on the left (2000 SR1)

Okay, I thought you folks had me on the right track. Finished my nightmare doc and I was paging through looking for errors, and noticed the first pages (up to Chapter 1) are out of sync.

I have the following pages and their associated section breaks:

    title page -- even
    legal page -- odd
    acknowledgements -- odd
    contents -- odd
    intro -- odd

When I use print preview, the title page, acknowledgements, and contents all show up on the left side of the screen, but with the proper page numbers (0, iii, v). Intro is on the right as it should be, with the correct page number (1).

I have to send this to a printer in a PS file, so I need it to be right. Have I done something to make things look wrong, even though the setup is correct? <img src=/S/hairout.gif border=0 alt=hairout width=31 height=23>

Re: Odd pages on the left (2000 SR1)

Seems to me you should have all odd-page section breaks.
If you want those 5 pages to appear on the RIGHT (odd pages), they should all be odd-page section breaks. And the title page should NOT be page 0. It should be page 1, even if the page number isnt' showing.

And I don't think print preview gives a dern about where your pages are suppose to be, just how they look.

If it were me...just to be on the safe side, I'd get rid of all those odd/even breaks, put in regular section breaks, and insert additional page breaks to make the blank pages if you're printing duplex to PS file. IMHO
