    Drawing Objects in Word

I regularly have documents in Word which include many drawing objects (mostly lines). I want to delete all of these objects without having to select them one page at a time in page layout view. There are also OLEs in the document which I need to retain.
The documents are originally html, and need to retain the heading hierarchies.

    Re: Drawing Objects in Word

    Hi Hazel,

If you have Word 97 or 2000 the following should help :

In the Drawing Toolbar click on the White Arrow (beside the Draw Menu),then place the mouse pointer at the very top of your document and and keeping the left button pressed drag the mouuse over the entire document.

Pressing the Delete key should then remove all drawing objects but leave all text and embedded objects intact.

    Hope it works,
