    Submitting (VB6)

    Hello all

I would like to push a button and have an email sent to a certain address. Within this email it should contain the value in two of the textboxes, one textbos is there name, the other is there email address. I have absolutely no clue how to do this. Can I make it all work behind the scene? If so, how do I insure the user has an internet connection open. I am basically playing around with the idea of having to submit your name and email adress so I can email back a registration code. Since I am fairly new to programming, please respond on a dummy level. I do however understand code when I see it visually if that is of any help.

Maybe the information and links in the recent thread starting at <post#=165324>post 165324</post#> will help you.
The first replies assume you will be using Outlook to send emails; later on, alternatives are discussed.
