A while ago I wrote about Windows XP not saving search results properly. At the time I concluded that it was because I was using the Classic search mode. With this setting Windows XP would remember the type of data being searched but not the location (each time it defaulted back to searching all drives). When I went back to using the ordinary Windows XP search the folders I searched in would be remembered when I saved the search. But not any more. Suddenly Windows Search won't remember the folders it searched. As anyone else had problems saving searches? Can anyone think of any settings I could investigate which may account for this problem. I'd really like to be able to save my search results and not have to browse to the correct folder each time.
