    Print 11 x 17 (2000/SR1)

I have prepared a document to be 11 x 17, figuring that it would print on multiple 8 1/2 x 11 pages, which I could then cut and paste together. Publisher will do that, so I just assumed that Word would too. (We don't have Publisher at work). My document is a three column document, so I can't split it between 2 8 1/2 x 11 and print it that way. (Well, I could but I don't want to.) I have an HP LaserJet 5. Is there a way to get it to print to multiple pages? Thanks.

    Hi Don,

Since you're using a laserjet that doesn't support the size paper your require, you can't reliably print a pair of pages of 1.5 columns each and get them not to omit anything. As a workaround, you could format your 3-column page as 3 pages, each with margins to maintain the width of your existing columns. Alternatively, you could select File|Print and use the 'scale to paper size' dialogue to scale the lot down to fit on one 8.5*11 page. You might want to change your document/printer orientation when doing that, too.
