I have an access system that I've just converted from 97 to xp, everything runs fine.
There's one particular form with a datasheet subform that displays data that the user can view before sending the data of to excel to produce a PivotTable. I thought I'd be clever (usually my first mistake) and add "PivotTable View" to the shortcut menu of the sub form.
The trouble is when ever I click the PivotTable View, it turns the main (which is unbound) form into a PivotTable and not the sub form.
I realise I could set the sub forms default view to PivotTable, it works fine, but not really what I want. Is it possible for the user to change a subform to a PivotTable on the fly?
