    Delivery point barcode using Zip+4

    Word2K - If I print an envelope using Zip + 4, the barcode does not print. If I remove the +4 part of the zip, the barcode prints.
    Has anyone else had this problem? Suggestions? Thanks!

    I have discovered that some people were putting a space after the 5 digit zip before the dash and then the barcode doesn't print at all.
    Also we are in the midst of WordPerfect to Word conversion and addresses converted from WordPerfect need the zip code retyped manually in order to put in the barcode on an envelope or label.

    Hi Peggy,

    It sounds like you've found your problem. You and others on your staff may want to look at <A target="_blank" HREF=>Word for Word Perfect Users</A> (

    for information on Word for Word Perfect users.

    For more:
    <A target="_blank" HREF=>How to Create a Template (Part 1)</A> (

    FWIW Many WP users use macros for insertion of boilerplate. Word uses AutoText and AutoCorrect for this.

    Hope this helps,
