    First Date (Access XP)

I have a table with 10,000 records and 15 Columns.
Of the 15 Columns, one store Social Security Numbers with duplicates and another column with dates no duplicates.
I want to query out a set of records with no duplicated Social Security Numbers with the earliest date.

Create a query based on the table. Make it into a Totals query by selecting Query | Totals. Add the SSN and date fields to the query grid. In the Totals row, set the option for the date field to Min (leave it as the default Group By for the SSN field.)
