Re: change toolbar (Office 2000)

If you are on a network, the network administrator may have installed a policy that prevents you from saving customizations.

    Try the following:

In Word, select Tools | Options...

Activate the Save tab.

Tick the "Prompt to save Normal template" check box.

Click OK

Select Tools | Customize...

Make sure that the "Save in" box at the bottom of the Customize dialog shows

Make a small change to a toolbar (drag a new button onto the toolbar, or move a button to another location).

Click Close.

Quit Word.

Do you get a message box "Changes have been made that affect the global template, Do you want to save those changes?", with Yes, No and Cancel buttons?

If so, click Yes.

Restart Word to see if the changes have "stuck".[/list]If you have no success, try <!post=Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word (97/2000),197827>Systematic Approach to Behavioral Problems in Word (97/2000)<!/post>.
