    Report Differences (Access 2002)

I recently amended a report that was created in Access 97, which works on my Access 2002. In a form when an item is ticked, it shows up on a report as 'Complete'. When run on on Microsoft Access XP Pro, though there are no errors, the 'Complete' does'nt show up every time. I've been told it worked a couple of times then stopped. Is there anything I should be looking for to change in XP version, eg., references. Cheers.

Although I don't see how it would influence the behavior you describe, you could make sure that all declarations of DAO objects are prefixed with DAO, for example:

    Dim dbs As DAO.Database
    Dim rst As DAO.Recordset

I don't think there is a problem with missing references those usually cause code not to execute at all instead of working some of the time. But you can check, of course, on one of the PC's where the problem occurs (select Tools | References... in the Visual Basic Editor.)

If you can't locate the cause, you will have to provide more details.
