    Age in Years (2002)

    This HAS to be easy, but I can't find it:

    The birthday is in A1. How do I put the age in years in B1? (It shouldn't increment until the birthday occurs.)

    There is an undocumented function, DATEDIF, which should do as you want.

    <big>=DATEDIF(A1,TODAY(),"Y")</big>

    Formore detail see Chip Pearson's description

    That did it!

    I had used the DATEDIF function in Visual Basic, but didn't know of it in Excel.

    Thanks for your help.
