This question came about during one of my team daily banters over tea and biscuits (How very British). One of the team did a Google and got exactly the same answer as you. Apparently it comes from Spragmore's guide to customary weights and measures. I did a search for Spragmore+mickle in Google and got my first Googlewhack!!!</font color=yellow></span hi>
