Word Style names in different font? (Word 2002 SP-2)

    Hi All:
I'm running Word 2002 SP-2 and have some templates with many custom styles.
A few of the custom character styles use symbol fonts.
But I don't want the name of the style to show up in Word's style list in the symbol font, as it is unreadable.
How can I change the font that Word uses to display these custom styles?

In my version of Word 2002 SP-2, the style name of styles that use a symbol font is displayed in Times New Roman, followed by the word "symbol" between parentheses in the symbol font. That way, the name of the style is always readable. This holds for both the Style dropdown list in the Formatting toolbar and the list of styles in the Styles and Formatting task pane...
