Short cut keys in Query Design Grid (Access 2000)

I am shortly going to be training a blind person to use access. He can't use a mouse. Most of the keyboard short cuts I have worked out/got from the help file but there is one that is baffling me. In the query design grid I can highlight a field in the table list but can't get the field name into the design grid (normally it would be a double click/drag and drop with a mouse). Any clues?

Position the insertion point in the Field: row of a column in the query design grid.
Press F4 or Alt+down arrow to open the dropdown list of fields.
Use the up/down arrow keys to move to the field to be used.
Press Enter or Tab to confirm and move to the next column.
