    Insert page numbers (Word 2002)

A few weeks ago, I created a 41 page document. Now, I wish to create two pages that have the numbers 15A, 15B. How do I do this? I tried the following:
    Insert>Page Numbers
    Click Format
    Page numbering=Start at 15A
Then I get an error message saying "Start At must be between 0 and 32766 for this format." What is it that I am not realizing? I'm sure there must be a way to do what I want.
    Thank you very much.

Re: Insert page numbers (Word 2002)

    Word supports numbering pages with 1, 2, 3, ... or with a, b, c, ... but not .., 14, 15, 15A, 15B, 16, ...
The best you can do is probably insert a section break after page 15 and after (physical) page 17. If the page numbers are in the footer, make sure to turn off "Same as before" for the footer on page 16 and also for the footer on page 18. Remove the page number in the middle section, and insert the mixed page "numbers" manually. In the third section, select Insert | Page number, then click Format...; specify that page numbers begin at 16, click OK, then Close.
