Determine if exe is running in memory (VB6)

I have a formless vb app running from a command line that spawns multiple sessions of an executable. When I go into the server's task manager I can see all instances of my executables running (cscript.exe if anyone cares). I need to be able to programmatically determine when all those exe instances are no longer running and then run another process to delete several files off the server. Is there an API or something that can do this? My thought is to write a DO loop that will keep looping while any one of these executables is still running to hold the executing the next lines of code which will do the delete process.
