    Date format (2000)

I am trying to display the day of the date. Here is what I am using: DateValue("01-05-2001") = 01/05/2001, I want it to display just the 05. Is this possible, or is there another way to do it?
Also, is there a way to have a calendar on a form that I can link to other forms based on which date is selected?

    Re: Date format (2000)

    Welcome to Woody's Lounge.

VBA has three functions named Day, Month and Year that return the corresponding part of a date. So if you have a field named MyDate, the expression =Day([MyDate]) will return the day number of MyDate.

Access comes with a calendar control that you can use on a form: click the More Controls button on the Toolbox, and select Calendar Control, then click on your form. You can use the value of the calendar control for other purposes.
