4. ## Re: BUILDING BLOCKS

I solved 1-5 myself, then used an anagram solver to find the 15 letter word.

5. ## Re: BUILDING BLOCKS

Ahh, congrats on the 5. Personally I got stuck on No 3. That sinle one gave me some uphill!

Edited to add - I somehow missed Hans answer. I used a similar technique, but I solved 4 out of 5 and then input 3 unknown characters to my anagram solver!

7. ## Re: BUILDING BLOCKS

Your 15 letter answer is correct! I see you got stuck on that No 3 too. When I discovered the puzzle I could not get that one either and had to succumb to looking at the answer!!! I somehow have some scepticism with Tic as a muscle twitch.? Never heard of that before!

8. ## Re: BUILDING BLOCKS

Tic is in common usage, it's a bit like a twitch, but involves repeated, involuntary movements

9. ## Re: BUILDING BLOCKS

Seems I'll need to dig up that ol' oxford dictionary to top up on those terms! I see that Word does refer to it under its thesaurus. Hmm, it makes me feel old....
