    Re: Word2000 Date Field Issue...

I'm not sure what is going on. Is this a DATE field or a TEXTFORMFIELD formatted for a date? If it is a DATE field, could you give the field code. My suggested code for a DATE field would actually be three fields:
{ DATE # "dd" }/{ DATE # "mm" }/{ DATE # "yy" }. This should have two advantages: 1) it may fix your problem and 2) it makes it easier to overtype a part of the date if you need to change it.

Sorry, please disregard my rambling. Upon re-reading your post it is apparent that you are using a form Field.

Try changing your formatting to dd/MM/yy. While Word is not usually case-sensitive on switches, when you use mm instead of MM, you get minutes instead of months. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> I think I went crazy for a couple of days over this very problem a couple of years back.

    Hope this helps.
