    SP2 w

I have several computers with Office 2003 standard, Visio 2003 and Proofing Tools 2003. On all others SP2 of the respective product install without a problem On my main machine (WinXP SP2, like all others), I always receive the message, Updates have not been installed and a list of the 3 updates.
I checked the installation log and found, that one night 2 weeks ago, the automatic updates of the 3 products have been interrupted (no indication why).
I think that maybe there are some corrupt registry entries, that prevent me from installing the service packs (I have de-installed and re-installed from orignal disks the whole office 2003. No change. Can anyone give me a hint (all other MS products install fine also SP1 of office installed fine).

    1. Did you download full version of the updates? (as office2003-KB906173-FullFile-ENU.exe, Visio2003SP2-KB887622-FullFile-ENU.exe, and so on?)

    2. Did you attempt to install the updates from your server (main machine) distributing MSP files from full packages or you ran the updates locally on each machine?

    3. Are Office installation on each computer pointed to Installation Point on your server or on local source (as CD drive?) If so, change the value of the Registry key

to the path to your Installation Point. For details, see You cannot install an Office 2003 service pack
