I'm using a mailto: from an html page in IE4 that pops up Outlook and allows the user to customize the e-mail message prior to sending it. I fill in the subject line of the note and the body of the note (partially) with some text and a URL using the ?subject and body parameters of the mailto: command.

In our office we've got users with Outlook 97, 98, and 2000.

When the O97 users click the mailto: link, the text that appears in the ?subject and body of the note contain all lower-case letters - even though I send the text with correct case. O98 and O2000 users don't have this problem; the text I pass from the mailto: command is received in its proper case.

Any ideas of a workaround that will allow O97 to accept uppercase letters?
