You are right.

Here is the answer from the source:
<span style="background-color: #FFFF00; color: #FFFF00; font-weight: bold">A must not see two white hats on B & C, or he would know his own must be black.
So his answer establishes that at least one of the hats on B & C is black.
If B saw that C was wearing a white hat, then B would know his own was black.
Since B could not say that truthfully, then C must be wearing black and therefore answers correctly. </span hide>
