    Restore Button (Access 2000)

    On my forms I don't want the user to min or max the forms; they are new users and I'm trying to simplify by having all forms maximized. I take the Min, Max and Control Box off, but the form still can be "Restored": it gets smaller, then can't be maximized again. Is this a default that cannot be changed? Also, do you developers close forms when opening another? Thanks!!

    What are the situations when it is being restored, and how?

    As for leaving forms open, it just depends. Sometimes it's convenient to leave a form open (but I generally minimize it), especially if form takes a long time to load. If not, I'll close it just to keep things tidy.

    If you want to set the size of your Form and then stop the user resizing it with the mouse, try this code in the resize event of your form:
    <pre>Private Sub Form_Resize()
    On Error Resume Next
    DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSizeToFitForm
    End Sub
