    Outlook Address Selection (2003 SP2)

How can I delete an old email address prompt when writing a new email ? My wife changed her address some time ago, but when I type the first few letters in the address, the prompt screen with, for example all the J's, comes up with her old address as well as the new one. It's tedious having to select the correct one every time, but despite searching the address books, I cannot find any trace of the old address in my system.

What is Outlook's secret solution ?

Re: Outlook Address Selection (2003 SP2)

If you want to delete a single name/address, use the up-arrow or down-arrow keys until the name/address is selected, then press the Delete key on the keyboard.

If you want to delete *all* names/addresses from the prompt list, delete the file with extension .nk2 in the folder

    Cocuments and Settings<username>Application DataMicrosoftOutlook

Note: since Application Data is a hidden folder, you must display hidden files and folders in Windows Explorer to be able to find/see it.
