    IMAP and POP3 (Outlook 2002)

I have to deal with the following situation. The desktop is Windows XP, and the PDA is from HP. Synchronization works just fine. There are 2 mail accounts. One is POP3, and the other is an IMAP account. At the moment all of the mail that arrives via IMAP is automatically forwarded to the POP3 account. Outbound mail can be sent using the IMAP address from Outlook, so the current situation is workable. Is it possible to have both POP3 and IMAP accounts in one instance of Outlook? Or is it better to use a different mail client for the IMAP account? To add to the confusion, there will soon be a Vista laptop added to this setup. Any suggestions?
